What if it's Worldwide..?
Pound for pound, beef production generates greenhouse gases that contribute more than 13 times as much to global warming as do the gases emitted from producing chicken.
James Morris (Head of U.N. Food) said:
"Today 850 million people are hungry and malnourished. Over half of them are children. 18,000 children die every single day because of hunger and malnutrition"
But more than one third of the world’s grain harvest is used to feed livestock.
